Technical Features

Inductive sensing technology provides non-contact detection of the valve position.

One sensor provides two outputs, indicating the open and closed positions respectively.

The sensor and target puck feature a compact design, with dimensions only 1/4 the size of a switch box.

Bright LEDs indicate if the valve is open or closed.

A fully sealed design with no open chambers prevents the influence of liquids.

Select the valve cover kit

Select the valve cover kit according to your ISO Namur actuator. The X and Y dimensions are the positions of the actuator mounting holes. The Z dimension is the height of the actuator shaft.

Quarter-turn valve position sensors

Quarter-turn valves with pneumatic actuators are used for process control in the industrial automation sector. Typical applications for these devices include tank farms, diverter valves, valve-tanks, and valve blocks.

Traditional valve position feedback solutions use large switch boxes. These high-maintenance kits are mounted on top of the actuator and use mechanical devices and cams to indicate the valve position. Because the mechanical arms must come into contact with the cams, they can potentially stick, chatter, or experience true breakage. If water enters the switch box, other problems can also occur, such as collisions, signal loss, and short circuits.
