Powerful compact proximity sensor switch

ifm efector’s small rectangular proximity switches are an ideal choice for detecting the switching position of rising stem valves. The IS series uses a special housing design and can directly replace V3-type mechanical devices. These proximity switches use standard inductive technology and are mounted on top of the valve for non-contact detection of the valve.

The ifm proximity switch is designed as a proximity switch system with surface-mount components on a flexible polyamide film. All components are carefully combined to expand or contract simultaneously, thereby minimizing the effects of thermal shock. The proximity switch has a protection rating of IP67 and is resistant to washdowns.
