New Product! The ifm vision sensor’s onboard illumination elements provide illumination for objects and can provide the correct image brightness in different ranges.

However, some applications may require additional illumination. For example, detecting specific surface features (such as dot-peened marks, scratches, or cracks) may require a high-intensity lamp. In contour sensors, sometimes there is not enough contrast between the object and the background. A backlight may be needed to help highlight the object in the background.

ifm’s high-quality LED light sources can provide uniform illumination to solve a wide range of application needs. We can provide white, red, and infrared versions of spotlights, backlights, ring lights, bar lights, and dark-field illumination devices.

A wide variety of mounting kits allow for quick and simple installation.
