Other application examples

The goal is to differentiate between black seat frames and silver seat frames. A standard mark sensor can handle this application, but usually does not have the required detection range to inspect the seat frame.

The pixel vision sensor can be used for simple mark applications when a larger detection range is needed, and can therefore easily detect the silver seat frame in this application.

When inserting a metal insert into a rubber mold, it is necessary to ensure that the area is smoothly covered. In this example, the insert has developed an inconsistent shape during molding.

The molding process can produce inconsistently shaped inserts. The pixel vision sensor can detect a smaller number of bright pixels to detect incorrect molding.
