ifm’s O5 photoelectric sensors use a small housing but have a very large detection range. This series of sensors uses a two-button “teach mode” to provide high precision and extremely high resolution for demanding applications.

Installation is very simple. The sensor’s connector can be rotated 270°, allowing for alignment in multiple directions. A wide range of bracket types supports extensive mounting options.

O5 sensors can be mounted above the target – the background suppression model can be mounted up to 1.8 meters away.
