Compact pressure switch for robotics and material handling applications

ifm’s PQ series pressure switches are designed for pneumatic applications in robotics and material handling, and can accurately measure the typical vacuum and pressure ranges in these applications.

The PQ series pressure switches have been expanded and now include models with analog output that support IO-Link (Order Nos. PQ3809 and PQ3834).

The PQ series is mainly based on piezoresistive measuring elements. This is a silicon measuring element that is not affected by possible liquids (such as condensed water) and deposits in the system. The silicon measuring element ensures high overload performance and an accuracy of up to ± 0.5%.

Application parameters are established using 2 pushbuttons. A dual-color 4-digit display provides system pressure visibility from a distance.

Rich mounting options

Can use the 2 M4 drill holes on the front for mounting on flat surfaces and profiles.
Can use a robust DIN rail clip for fixing on a DIN rail.
Can be fixed on pipes or ventilation duct panels.
