Easy setup via IO-Link

Parameters can be set via ifm’s LineRecorder Device software or IO-Link. The resolution is programmable from 1 to 10,000, with optional HTL or TTL output. No need to stock multiple encoders!

Reliable performance and rich options

ifm’s incremental encoders use magnetic technology, providing the accuracy of traditional optical encoders and the robustness of magnetic encoders. They are resistant to shock and vibration, have a high switching frequency, and are available with a 6 mm or 10 mm solid shaft or a 6 or 12 mm diameter hollow shaft. These encoders can use a rotatable, industry-standard M12 connector or a 2-meter cable.
