No special accessories needed, in-place installation

ifm’s TN series compact process temperature sensors can accurately indicate process temperature. These sensors are stand-alone devices with integrated control monitors and probes. The robust stainless steel probe is resistant to corrosive media and withstands shock and vibration. It is also equipped with a rotatable display that shows the system temperature.

These models simplify installation on small pipelines that require local temperature indication. The integrated display of the monitor allows the user to view the temperature directly in the process. The robust stainless steel housing can withstand harsh environmental conditions, and installation can be done without an extra housing or control cabinet. With its flexible design, this temperature system can be adapted to most application requirements.

Button programming

By using the microprocessor-based setting buttons, users can access many menus. Two output options are available: models with adjustable analog and switch outputs, and models with dual PNP/NPN outputs. The switch output has an independent setpoint and reset point and can be programmed as normally open or normally closed.
